Isesaki Student Art Exhibit

On display in April 2026

This year’s exhibit includes 78 pieces from students in five grade levels at eight elementary schools in Isesaki. The students represent 10 countries in addition to Japan: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Each piece includes the student’s name, grade, nationality, title of their piece and brief explanation of its meaning.

Springfield student artwork also is displayed in Isesaki, Springfield’s Sister City for 40 years in 2026. Both Springfield and Isesaki express their gratitude to the students with gifts of appreciation when the artwork is returned. Plus, the students become internationally exhibited artists!

The exhibit will be up through May 7.
