You will also have free time to spend with your host family. On Saturday, October 27, we will depart early for Tokyo for sightseeing and will stay at the Washington Shinjuku Hotel on Saturday and Sunday nights. Possible group activities may include visits to the Tokyo Skytree and Shinjuku Gyoen, a national park in Tokyo. Of course, you will have free time to explore on your own as well. More details on activities will be forthcoming as they are established.

When you travel with Springfield Sister Cities, you are an ambassador of Springfield in fulfillment of the SSCA mission of Peace Through People.  Many years have gone into building relationships with friends in Isesaki. Because of this rich history, your experience traveling with Sister Cities as an ambassador is unlike any other. You will experience rich traditions beyond what other visitors can and you will build amazing friendships.  Appreciation, good will, patience, and love are essential to keep this wonderful program going.
