Sounds of Summer is organized in conjunction with our partner, Friends of the Garden. The Springfield Botanical Gardens are located at 2400 South Scenic Avenue, Springfield, Mo., 65807.
The Peace through People Pavilion was constructed in late 2016 to encourage more cultural performances and events for the community in the garden. The Pavilion furthers our mission of “Peace through People” and our goals to advance awareness and understanding of different cultures – particularly through performances, art, and music. The first concert was held at the Pavilion in October 2016, and it was officially dedicated along with the “Amigos” sculpture in April 2017.
