2026 Event

Join us to celebrate our mission of “Peace Through People” in a beautiful park setting! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and join us at the Peace Through People Pavilion to celebrate our accomplishments and look to the future of Springfield Sister Cities.

Sister Cities members receive voucher tickets for free food and drink! Check in at the membership tent to claim your tickets or to join or renew your membership. You can also join or renew ahead of time online!

The vouchers, valued at $12 per eligible member, can be used at our participating food trucks – Koji Kitchen, Tacos El Champu, Xurros and Kona Ice. Shakers Mobile Bartending also will be on site.

Performers

Performers will include Kizuna Japanese Friendship Group, Mariachi Flor de Missouri and Dallas Jones, the 2023 Traveling Musician representing Springfield at the annual city festival in Isesaki, Japan.

Gigs in the Garden

Stick around after the event for a Gigs in the Garden concert. Brett Miller and the Gigantic Band are the performers on May 17.
