Now as much as ever, our world needs peace and understanding between all people. COVID-19 demonstrated just how connected we all are, yet our world and nation remains divided in many different ways.
For more than 30 years, Sister Cities has worked to bring people together across cultural boundaries. We believe in the power of personal connections to create peace, understanding and mutual respect between all people.
COVID-19 has had a severe impact on nonprofits, including Sister Cities. We work to achieve our mission through public cultural events and travel opportunities — most of which had to be cancelled or reimagined in 2020 and into 2021.
Today we’re participating in Giving Tuesday, a worldwide celebration of generosity. Your donation of any amount will help us regain lost funds and continue promoting “Peace Through People” until we can safely gather again.
