Springfield Sister Cities Association announces “call for artists” for the 2017 Japanese Fall Festival to be held September 8,9,10 at Nathanael Greene / Close Park’s Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, 2400 S. Scenic.
Last year the attendance at this festival exceeded 16,000 people, so you don’t want to miss your chance to participate as a vendor this year!
Note to artists and vendors:
It is the goal of SSCA to keep this event as authentic as possible.
We ask that you give us as many details as you can about the products in your booth. Images would be appreciated. The SSCA Isesaki Committee will review applications and try to limit it those that
1)are authentic to Japanese culture and tradition.
2) are authentic to gardening / landscape practices.
3) are not in direct competition with items SSCA has available in the souvenir tent.
Space is limited. If you meet our qualifications as a vendor, we suggest you get your space reserved now!
Deadline for assignment of booth space is August 10th, 2017
