Join the visiting Isesaki students from our sister city in Japan for an evening of Japanese culture, games, dance and songs on August 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Greenwood School on the campus of Missouri State University. This event is free and fun for the whole family!
The students arrive in Springfield on August 2 for a two-week cultural exchange program hosted in MSU. While in Springfield, they will stay in dorms, attend classes, and visit the Boys and Girls Club, Silver Dollar City, Bass Pro, spend a day with Springfield host families, and have a picnic at the Japanese Stroll Garden.
They will also spend time preparing for the Isesaki Summer Festival night at Greenwood — making poster and signs, planning hands-on activities and rehearsing their performances.
