Invitation to Annual Membership Celebration on March 8

Dear Friends,

Please SAVE THE DATE and consider inviting a few new friends to the SSCA Annual Membership Celebration, Friday, March 8th, 2013.

It’s shaping up to be a great event with fun entertainment including music, special guests, food and drinks, a silent auction and more. The fun starts at 6:30, and if your Sister Cities membership is up to date you get in absolutely free.

Savoy-BallroomThis year we’ll again be at the Savoy Ballroom, located at 224 E. Commercial Street. The Savoy is known as Springfield’s most elegant ballroom. Joining us this year will be a string quartet, a special acoustical set from the M-Dock Band, and other special guests!!

Also this year we’d like you to consider sponsoring a table of eight for only $250. We will give special recognition to all our table sponsors at the event. It’s a great way for you to treat friends to a memorable night out and help support Springfield Sister Cities Association at the same time.

You and every guest at your table will receive a great evening of entertainment plus a prepaid SSCA membership! With a membership, your friends will have new opportunities to get involved with Sister Cities, and will be invited to join us for other fun events throughout the year.

We are hoping they will enjoy our fellowship beyond this one night and will become part of our local community reaching out internationally for Peace through People.

One more thing… We have several artists who are donating work for our silent auction, but still need attentional items. So if you know of an artist that might donate a work, or if you would like an artist to be a guest at your sponsored table, please let us know. We will give special attention to all original donated artwork and artists during the evening.

For further information or to make a donation or table reservation, please email Cindy Jobe or call her at 417-864-1341.

Thank you and see you soon!
Russ RuBert, Membership Committee Chair
