Call for Vendors: Japanese Fall Festival 2019

Friday-Sunday, September 6-8, 2019

The Japanese Fall Festival is a celebration of authentic Japanese culture highlighting Springfield’s sister city relationship with Isesaki, Japan (formed in 1986). Each year, a delegation of Isesaki citizens travels to Springfield to contribute to the festival through demonstrations and interactions with attendees. Now in its 24th year, festival attendance is expected to top 18,000.

We are searching for vendors and artists to participate in the festival with booths that are:

1. authentic to Japanese culture and tradition;
2. authentic to Japanese gardening/landscaping practices;
3. not in direct competition with items available in the souvenir tent.

The vendor application fee is $150 and includes a 12’x12′ space. A 10’x10’ tent, one table, and two chairs can be provided to you.

We are also looking for food vendors with items authentic to Japanese cuisine. Food vendors pay a flat fee of $250 and other details are arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Please click here for more information and to apply. Vendor applications are due by Thursday, August 15, 2019.
