Day hosts needed for Isesaki, Japan students

Sunday, August 5 from 8:30am-4:30pm

Large groups of students from Isesaki, Japan visit Springfield each year. The students spend much of their time learning at Missouri State University, but the highlight of their trip is always spending a day with Springfield citizens.

We are looking for hospitable people just like you to hang out with two or more Isesaki students for a day. The students are eager to experience a typical day in Springfield, so there is no need to plan extravagant activities. You also don’t need knowledge of Japanese culture or language; the students speak varying levels of English and respond well to kindness in any language.
