Romance in the Garden — May 12-13, 2017

Romance is in bloom at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden at the Springfield Botanical Gardens!

Make a date with your sweetie for Friday, May 12, 2017 or Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 7:30-9:30 PM and enjoy a romantic evening together.

Candle light, floating luminaries, and soft music in a beautiful garden creates the perfect ambiance for sharing quality time together.  Wishing lanterns will also be available for purchase ($5) in the garden.

Advance tickets are $10 each or $15 for two and may be purchased online using the registration form or in person at the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic in Springfield.

Make your date night even more memorable by pre-ordering a picnic basket full of goodies to share –  2 chocolate covered strawberries, 2 chocolate truffles, sparking juice, a keep sake picnic blanket and two admission tickets all for just $40!

About the Author

Lexy served on Springfield Sister Cities Association's Board of Directors for four years before joining the ranks as Associate Director. She is also Associate Director of Friends of the Garden. Lexy is an arts and culture enthusiast, and she has served as Marketing Director for Springfield Little Theatre and Membership and Development Coordinator for Springfield Regional Arts Council. Lexy is a past Board member and Membership Committee member of Springfield Creatives. She also moonlights in community theatre and film projects.
