Annual Membership Celebration 2014

Friday, March 14th starting at 6:30 p.m. at the
Doubletree Hotel Ballroom, 2431 N. Glenstone

Mark your calendar and invite your friends to a night of the fun at the Sister Cities’ Annual Membership Celebration!

It’s our kick-off event for the upcoming year and filled with music, celebration, special guests, food and drinks, a silent auction and more. All songs sound happy when played on the ukelele, and the Drury DUkes – Drury University Ukulele Club will be our musical guests. If you caught them at Lindberg’s during our December event, you know they are fun to listen to!

Your membership dues for 2014 will get you into the event, and if you haven’t yet paid for 2014, you can pay at the door. Membership dues for an individual are $25 a year, for a family are $50, and student are $5. Membership benefits include free admission to festivals, and you can find more information about memberships here.

You may also consider also sponsoring a table of eight for only $250. We will give special recognition to all our table sponsors, and it’s a great way for you to treat friends to a special night out and help support Springfield Sister Cities Association at the same time.

You and every guest at you table will enjoy a full year SSCA membership, stay informed and be invited to join in other events through the year — becoming part or our local network of citizens reaching out globally for Peace through People.

Several artists have donated work for our silent auction, and we would welcome more! If you know an artist who might like to donate a work of art, please let us know. Donating artists also receive a full year’s membership, and we will give special mention to all original donated art and the artist during the event.

For further information or to make a donation or reservation, please contact Cindy Jobe by email or phone ar 417-864-1341.
