Updated Sunday schedule due to Saturday rain — SUMO Match has been rescheduled for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and additional Japanese Flute performance by Chapul Tagami added

in the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, 2400 S. Scenic, Springfield, MO

daily admission is $5 for adults; $3 for kids 12 and younger
toddlers two years of age and under are free.

Sunday, Sept. 11 – 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

11:00 – Gates open
12:00 – Springfield Aikido School
1:30 – St. Louis Osuwa Taiko (Japanese Drums)
2:30 – USA SUMO MATCH with special appearance by World Champion Byamba
3:15 – Garbazo’s (2011 Isesaki Matsuri performer)
4:00 – Zeni Daiko and Sensu (Japanese Fan dance)
4:30 – Tony’s Karate
5:30 – Japanese Flute performance by Chapul Tagami

All Day
Candy Art by Candy Miyuki
Japanese Top-Spinning by Hiroshi Tada
Tea Ceremony – 12:30, 2:00 ($5 -register at souvenir tent)
Try on and take a photo in a Yukata (cotton kimono) – 12, 2, 3:30
Traditional Japanese games and crafts for kids – 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Japanese souvenir booth and 100 Yen store – 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
